What is the "Drive Home a Winner Raffle"?  

Hot new wheels for your customers: To raise money, we will be selling raffle tickets with top prizes being a lease on a brand new 2015 truck and a brand new motorcycle. 

Attention given your products and services:

Sponsor a "Hole" When you sponsor a "hole" for the tournament, the attention your business will receive will go beyond having your logo prominently  displayed on a banner during the tournament.  Your company logo will also be displayed on our web site with a link to yours as part of our raffle promotion. 

Your "Hole" may be a winner! From the sponsors of the 36 golf holes, we will hold a separate drawing.  The results of that drawing will make raffle ticket holders and veterans groups get really excited!

$20,000 reasons' to give: As part of our charitable mission, we will be making up to $20,000  ($1 concert ticket sold, up to $10,000/concert) available to be given to a qualified veteran's group.^***  If your company or organization wins the drawing, you have the right choose which organization receives the money.  If the sponsoring organization is also a qualified veteran's group, then congratulations!  Of course, should you wish,  you will be given the opportunity to announce the gift on stage at the concert.

Why will customers come to your store?

One of your customers may drive home with a new car:  You will have the right to offer your customers a FREE SWEEPSTAKES TICKET when they come to your place of business.  (regularly $5) To redeem their free sweepstakes ticket, they will enter a promotion code you give them when they check out at your store.

You can offer your customers discounts on concert tickets:  You will have the right to offer your customers a $2 discount off the normal $30 price for concert tickets to HeroFest^® 2015.

How will this enhance your public image?

HeroFest^® 2015 will be receiving a lot of media attention:

1) Your name and logo will appear on a banner on the golf course.  With a $50,000 purse and $20,000 1st place prize, their will be a lot of attention focused on the tournament. 

2) Your name and logo will also appear as a sponsor on our website during the checkout process for concert tickets.  We will provide a link to your website as well.

3) We will also put your name on our "Wall of Fame" on the HeroFest.org website in perpetuity as a sponsor of HeroFest^® 2015.

4) If you are drawn as the winning sponsor  your company's sponsorship and designation of how the gift/prize of  up to $20,000^** will be given will be publicly announced at the concert.  If you wish, you may announce it yourself at the concert.  We will also display  your company or organization's name and logo prominently on-stage.

5) You will receive the right to promote your sponsorship in your advertising.

6) Additionally if you are the founding sponsor^* of the winning hole, a gift of  up to $10,000 per concert^** will be donated in your name to the qualifying non-profit veterans organization^*** of your choice in your name.

What must I donate?

There will be an initial donation requirement.  But your assistance in helping us raise money from the public could possibly reduce your donation costs to literally $0!  Here's how:

Founding Sponsors: A founding sponsor must initially donate $2,500.  However, a founding sponsor has the right to bring in Hole Co-Sponsors.   Funds raised in this manner will be rebated directly to the founding sponsor up to the initial $2500, but no more^****.  Additionally, the sponsorship cost may be reduced by sales of concert and raffle tickets as explained below.  A Founding Sponsor will receive a larger presentation of their name and logo on the banner for the hole they have sponsored.

Hole Co-Sponsors: A hole sponsor must initially donate a minimum of $500.  Their sponsorship cost may be reduced by sales of concert and raffle tickets as explained below.

Concert and raffle ticket sales: As a sponsor, you will be able to give your customers a $2 discount when they buy HeroFest^® 2015 concert tickets.  When your customer uses your promotional code to buy a concert ticket, you will receive a $1 credit toward your donation^****. 

Likewise, when a customer uses your promotional code to buy a raffle ticket, you will receive a credit towards your donation.  These credits may be used up to the total value of your initial donation rquirement, but no more.  

Should you receive more credits than your initial donation requirement, and if you notify HeroFest in writing to do so within 30 days following  HeroFest^® 2015, we will donate the difference in your name to a qualifying non-profit veterans organization^*** of your choice. 

Why would a qualifying veteran's organization^*** become a sponsor?

Up to twenty thousand $$ reasons!^**  Our goal at HeroFest^® 2015 is to unite the veterans organizations throughout Ohio to make this years event an overwhelming success!  Together, we can put a Fisher House in Cleveland to benefit veterans from Ohio to Pennslvania to Indiana and West Virginia.

If your company or organization is the winning  sponsor of a hole in the "sponsor's raffle" you get to choose the qualifying veteran's organization***  that gets up to $10,000 per drawing (one drawing per concert)^**. 

 - If your organization is the founding sponsor - you can give it to your organization!

 - If your organization recruited another founding sponsor, perhaps they might want to give it to you?

Why would a qualifying veteran's organization^*** help sell sponsorships?

Sponsorship sales: To start with, the Fisher House will benefit countless veterans and their families served by the Cleveland VA.  We created the hole sponsorship contest to thank you for your help.  Each night, from the pool of sponsors we will hold a drawing.  The winning sponsor will be able to award the winnings (up to $10,000 per drawing) to their favorite veterans group.   That veterans group could be yours!

Why would a qualifying veteran's organization^*** help sell concert and raffle tickets?

Concert and raffle ticket sales:  You will be able to sell your tickets at a discount to members and friends of veterans everywhere.  Also, when someone uses your organization's promotional code to buy a concert ticket, you will receive $1/ticket as a "thank you" from us.

And, of course, by working together, we will help  build a Fisher House in Cleveland to serve the families of our sick and wounded veterans who have sacrificed so much for all of us.

^* A founding sponsor is an individual, business or qualifying veterans' organization*** that has donated $2500 to HeroFest^®.to sponsor a golf hole in the "Drive Home a Winner Raffle" There can be no more than 36 founding sponsors. 

^** One dollar from every HeroFest^® 2015 concert ticket sold, up to a maximum of $20,000 will be set asside to be donated to the qualifying veterans' organization chosen by the founding sponsor assigned to the hole the winner of the golf tournament started from.

^***In general, a qualifying veterans' organization must be a 501c(3) charity registered and in good standing with the IRS with a focus on serving veterans needs and an upstanding community reputation.  However, HeroFest^® retains the right and has sole discretion in determining whether or not an organization qualifies to receive donated funds.  It is the sole responsibility of an organization wishing to participate in raising funds through this program to receive written approval from HeroFest^® if it wishes to receive the benefits outlined in this document.

^**** It may take up to 60 days after the HeroFest^® 2015 event for us to process rebates and cash incentive donations detailed in this document.
